Movies Under the Walkway Kicks off June 24th with ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’

  |  May 29, 2017

Turns out, the Walkway Over the Hudson is good for more than just walking across. Starting Saturday, June 24th, the scenic footpath made from a 19th-century railroad trestle will be home to ‘Movies Under the Walkway,’ a free event that will screen popular movies in open air setting throughout the summer.

The screenings take place on the Poughkeepsie side of the Walkway at Upper Landing Park, 83 N. Water Street, and starts at sundown with ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark.’ Pre-show music with Murali Coryell begins at 7pm. Food vendors will be on hand, and free parking will be available at the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum next door to Upper Landing Park. Take a look at the poster above for movie dates and pre-show music schedule, or follow Movies Under the Walkway on FB for updates and news. See you under the Walkway!
