Nab this Foreclosure in Marlboro for $79,900
Kandy Harris | August 12, 2015This is a diamond in the rough, as real estate agents are wont to say. But it really could be! The listing provides almost no information about the state of this 4 bed/2 bath 1885 sq. ft. home in the village of Marlboro, other than the fact that it’s a FannieMae. The interior looks clean with wood and stone tile flooring (and lackluster grey carpeting), and there’s some nice wood trim. But what of the kitchen and baths? It’s a mystery. Marlboro is located in southern Ulster County, right on the edge of Orange County, on the Hudson River. We’ve found good bargains in Marlboro in the past, and given its distance to NYC (about 90 mins) and Poughkeepsie (about 20 mins), it could provide some rich hunting grounds for second-home buyers. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in town. There’s even a decent place to hear live music right around the corner at the Falcon.
41 Grand Street, Marlboro (24/7 Realty)
