Just to end the suspense right away, New Kingston is nowhere near Old Kingston. Rather, it’s a hamlet up in Delaware County, about five miles straight north of Margaretville, and this market newbie is situated there. We were most impressed with the exterior (perhaps the porch needs a little touching up), and while the interior is fine, we think it could use some fine-tuning, starting with what appears to be wood paneling in the living room. Not really our cup of tea, but the river rock fire place is. Also has a big kitchen with built-ins, plus an attached workshop and a detached barn/garage. With it comes a half-acre lot that abuts farmland. Not bad for $159,000.
