New Local Beer Alert: Catskill Brewery, Livingston Manor

Add another one to your upstate New York brewery tour. Catskill Brewery in Livingston Manor, Sullivan County opened for business on August 31st in a LEED-certified facility. The brewery is the third of its kind in the county, preceded by the Roscoe Brewing Company and the Callicoon Brewing Company. Styling its craft lager, pilsner, and IPA brews as “fresh, honest, hard-working beer,” Catskill Brewery uses sustainable practices in the brewery, as well as Catskill Mountain water and natural ingredients. Growler hours are Monday-Friday 5-7pm and Saturday 1-6pm. Can’t make it all the way to Livingston Manor to see the new brewery in the flesh? Sip some at the Anchor in Kingston, or Peekamoose in Big Indian, or the Dutch in Saugerties. Or one of the many other upstate spots that proudly offer Catskill Brewery suds.
