New Paltz Antique Stone House Perfection
Kandy Harris | June 27, 2014This c.1704 Dutch stone house tickles so many of our old house fancies, like the rough beamed ceilings, the floors, fireplaces, doors, and even a hidden staircase. A hidden staircase! Speaking of hidden, in the kitchen, the fridge blends in seamlessly into the wooden walls, and there’s a hidden cabinet in the living room. Kudos for keeping the old world features while unobtrusively mixing in the new stuff. Location-wise, the address is technically New Paltz, but it’s closer to Rosendale. But enough yammer from us. Feast your eyes on the photos and let the drooling begin.
