Newburgh CSA Returns!
Kandy Harris | February 3, 2014Newburghians, rejoice, for your friendly neighborhood CSA has returned and is now accepting memberships for 2014. The Huguenot St. Farm in New Paltz provides the goodies to the CSA, and pick up starts June 5th at Safe Harbors, 115 Broadway, and continue Thursday evenings from 5-7pm through October. Members not only have access to a variety of share options (check the Huguenot St. Farm page for details on full shares, half shares, fruit shares, etc.), they can also visit the Huguenot St. U-Pick garden for fruits, veggies, flowers, and herbs. Oh, by the way, Huguenot St. Farm is holding an open house (open barn, really) on March 1st from 4-6pm, just in case you’d actually like to lay eyeballs on the place from which your food is coming. What a concept! It’s never too late to start planning your CSA. Which one is your favorite?
