For one day during the summer, Newburgh’s East End Historic District transforms into one helluva block party with food, crafts vendors, music, live performance, and art. This year, the Newburgh Illuminated festival takes over the corner of Broadway and Liberty Streets on Saturday, June 3rd, from noon to 10pm. The event is free and open to the public.
While a vendor list hasn’t yet been posted on the festival website, we suspect there will be plenty to eat and see, and musical acts and performances are scheduled around the festival’s three stages and the Ritz Performing Arts Stage located at the center of Newburgh Illuminated. If you don’t mind getting dirty, join in the Colorfest. Color packets will be $5/packets available in various spots around the event. Go here for more information on the gallery tent.
Bring your sunscreen, cash, and support for local creative endeavors. See you at Newburgh Illuminated!
