Olivebridge Farm House, $329,000
Kandy Harris | March 14, 2012It’s hard not to get a bit desensitized to beautiful, well-appointed farmhouses after seeing a ton of them. But perhaps getting desensitized simply means that there are plenty to be had.
Here’s another one that caught our eye: exposed beams, hardwood floors, a great kitchen that could be made greater with a few additions, like an island in the center. Some of us at Upstater have fashioned these out of book shelves and plywood. The porch ain’t bad, either.
We think the price is right for what you’re getting: nearly 2,ooo square feet, plus three acres of land. The listing says it’s got its own “enchanted forest.” There’s a seven-year-old inside of us that saw this picture and thought, “FAIRIES!”
