Prep for Hibernation with HV’s Restaurant Week
Mary Looram | October 29, 2015
Though the Hudson Valley is still in the midst of Halloween fervor, next week begins the month of November and with it, Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. If it’s still too early for you to bear the thought of Christmas shopping (shudder), avoid the mall and head over to some of the best eateries the Hudson Valley has to offer. From November 2nd to 15th, participants in the event hosted by The Valley Table offer 3-course dinners for $29.95. Some places also have a 3-course lunch for $20.95! There’s no extra purchase necessary to view the prix-fixe menu, though reservations are recommended. Also, beverages, tax, and tips aren’t included, so don’t go crazy. Well, go crazy, but within your financial limits. Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to taste test a new place, as well as a great excuse to get a group together and enjoy each other’s company.

The Mill House Brewing Company
The list of over 200 participating restaurants is on Hudson Valley Restaurant Week’s website, but here are some of our suggestions to give you a head-start…
– The Mill House Brewing Company (845.485.2739) in Poughkeepsie will be offering both lunch and dinner menus. Added plus: there’s a nearby Metro-North stop.
– Ole Savannah Southern Table and Bar (845.331.4283) in Kingston is also offering both lunch and dinner at its Historic Rondout locale.
– Cathryn’s Tuscan Grill (845.265.5582) in Cold Spring is Zagat rated and offering lunch and dinner menus for Restaurant Week.
Bon appétit!
