We thought you’d appreciate a screenshot of the Google Streetview of this home, located in the town of Pleasant Valley, Dutchess County. It’s darn cute, and it’s situated near the center of Pleasant Valley hamlet, five minutes from the Taconic Parkway. Guess how long it takes to get to NYC from here? Give yourself a point if you guessed 90 minutes.

Yes, it needs work. The interior suffers the fate of many homes built in the early 1800s: Every floor is crooked, and we’re assuming it’s drafty. However, it’s not a huge house, and some of the work has been done. It has a new bath and kitchen, as well as new carpeting…which we would pull up with haste to expose the wood floors. Speaking of which, check out the upstairs bedrooms. They’re small, but the floors look great. Also, it includes exactly zero kitchen appliances. We admit we got a chuckle out of the listing language, which says, “bring your own appliances,” so we’ve decided to coin it. BYOA. Bring Your Own Appliances.

Includes over a half-acre of land, .64 acres! Not too shabby for a residential neighborhood, and certainly enough room to plant a garden and put up a swing set. Rickety old backyard shack thrown in for extra fun.
