Putnam Valley A-Frame? More Like, Putnam Valley A-Plus-Frame!
Kandy Harris | March 21, 2019No matter which angle you take, this Putnam Valley A-Frame is ACUTE one.
We’ve been in and around Garrison, NY this week on Upstater, and today, we’re taking a short detour east to Putnam Valley, NY for the purposes of checking out this c.1967 triangular cottage on 5.46 acres. Why? Because of this wall right here:
A wall of glass speaks for itself, but that’s not the only thing we like about this A-frame. It’s also roomy with over 1,500 square feet, and even the two upstairs bedrooms in the pinnacle of the triangle don’t seem crowded. And, the kitchen is certainly spacious and comes with stainless steel appliances and plenty of under-counter storage.
Enjoy the view from the second story…
…take a long relaxing soak in the jetted tub after spending the day hiking the Appalachian Trail…
…or, listen to the sounds of the babbling West Branch Canopus Creek flowing nearby from the home’s wrap-around deck.
Located less than 15 minutes from Garrison hamlet and the Garrison Metro-North station, and NYC is just over an hour away by car.
