One thing we’ve learned about Putnam Valley is that it’s not the place to go if you’re looking for cute Victorians in a walkable village. In fact, it’s not the place to go if you’re looking for the standard cute Victorian at all. Which is actually fine with us. We occasionally find ourselves suffering from a bit of “Victorian Fatigue”, so we appreciate the opportunity to explore other types of houses so our appreciation for Victorians can grow. Or something like that. Anyway, here’s a cool house in the mid-mod style (built in 1970, so technically not a mid-mod), with a kitchen that blew our socks off a little. Property sits on an acre+ and includes a swimming pond, waterfalls, a brook, greenhouse spa, two decks, and a gazebo.
