Renovated Barn in Hudson, $699,000
Kandy Harris | March 23, 2012
Hudson was our Town of the Week not that long ago, and a week was really only long enough to scratch the surface of what’s available there. This renovated barn was on the short list of properties worth featuring, but we didn’t get to it until now.
Yes, it’s a barn, and it certainly doesn’t look like much on the outside. But it’s no ramshackle, cold hay house. Take a look-see on the inside:

It’s situated on 7.6 acres, well off the main routes that head southeast out of Hudson, past Claverack. It doesn’t appear to have too many close neighbors; in fact, according to the GMAP for 1 Miller Road, Hudson, it seems to be plopped right down in the middle of a green, grassy field.
But here’s where things get murky. The listing description is sparse with the details, and it doesn’t show up when you punch it into a Property Shark search. Does this place even exist? Or is it more like the Flying Dutchman of renovated barns? We hope it’s real and not just a real estate porn-fueled fantasy caused by looking at too many listings. Does anyone have any familiarity with this property? If not, who’s up for a road trip?
