Rent an A-Frame in the Catskills for $135/night
Kandy Harris | February 19, 2015Even if you can’t buy an A-Frame in the Catskill Mountains, you can still sleep in this A-Frame rental in the Delaware County town of Stamford. And while this sweet wee cabin will technically accommodate 6 guests, we see it as more of a romantic getaway for two given that it possess one main room and one sleeping loft. It’s all-caps claim-to-fame in the VRBO description is that it’s 20-40 minutes from all of the major slopes in the area, including Hunter, Windham, Belleayre, and Plattekill. It’s wide-open through March, but if you rent in the summer, the area is surrounded with opportunities to hike, swim, boat, fish, bike, or stare at the mountain views. Min. 2 night stay. $135/night in the winter, $125/night in summer/fall foliage, and $110 in the spring. Don’t you want to stay here? Behold the coziness of it all…
