Rental of the Week: Beaverbrook Cottage, Narrowsburg
Kandy Harris | August 28, 2012The Beaverbrook Cottage is located in one of our new favorite places in the Upstater area: The hamlet of Narrowsburg (Town of Tusten, Sullivan County). Situated on five acres practically on the shores of Fox Lake, this adorable rental property is secluded but just 10 minutes from Narrowsburg, just in case you need a break from all of that unwinding in nature and privacy and need to shop, visit a cafe, or get some human interaction. It’s also just a few miles from the Upper Delaware River for some swimming and recreating. There’s also a farmer’s market every Saturday during the season in Narrowsburg.
The cottage itself consists of two bedrooms upstairs, and the kitchen and living room on the first floor, along with a great room for entertaining or hanging out. Outside, there’s a fire pit, picnic table, and a grill at guests’ disposal.
Beaverbrook is also available for special events and retreats. Rates vary depending on the season (more expensive in the summer, cheaper in the off season, naturally). Look for more details on Red Cottage Rentals, or the Beaverbrook Cottage website.
