Rental of the Week: Coxsackie Victorian, $1,500/month

Ah, Coxsackie. We adore this town for so many reasons: It’s Hudson River locale makes it one of the prettiest places around, and we love its great houses at good prices. About a year ago, we may have gotten to the bottom of why it seems so quiet and deserted (check out this post and the comments section), and no, it has nothing to do with either the prison or the disease. Nonetheless, the reason is fairly juicy, which make us all the more intrigued.
This Victorian is a perfect example of what we find in Coxsackie, a nearly-4,000-square-foot grand Victorian for rent for $1,500 a month, close to the river, walking distance to town. Need we say more?
