Rental of the Week: Firefly Barn in Germantown, $2000/month
Kandy Harris | July 2, 2012
Due to the forthcoming July 4th holiday, we’re moving our regularly scheduled posts up a day, so you don’t have to wait until Tuesday for the Firefly Barn in Germantown (Columbia County) on three acres. We are (understandably) quite enamored with it. The rooms are open, enormous, bright, and full of clean, understated loveliness. Big clawfoot bathtubs in both baths, and the two bedrooms on the first floor have their own entrance. And while $2000/month is a bit steep, we can see why someone who take the plunge.
The barn is walking distance to Otto’s Market, a little deli and grocery that looks like a great place to grab and egg sandwich and coffee in the morning.
Lease is for one year starting September 1st, $2000/month plus utilities.
But enough talk. Let’s enjoy the eye-candy.
