Rental of the Week: Laurel Farm in Pawling
Kandy Harris | March 13, 2012Time to start thinking about where you’re going to drag bring the family on your fabulous summer vacation adventure, and we’re here to help you do just that!
Here’s a stunning vacation escape in the Pawling area that popped up in our classifieds section, just west of the Connecticut border in Dutchess County. The 2,000 square foot farm house sits on 13 spectacular acres and comes complete with a salt water pool, huge kitchen, fireplace in the living room, big bedrooms, and, according to their website “total seclusion”. Tempting, no? Plenty of places to run around, play, and explore nature.
Located just over an hour from NYC, this restored circa-1815 farmhouse is close to Danbury, CT, Cold Spring, NY and the DIA in Beacon. Metro-North Train is also a mere 3 miles away. Super convenient for day trips to the city and relaxing in the country in the evening.
Details on booking, rates, and additional pictures are on the listing in the Upstater Classifieds section. While you’re there, check out the other vacation rentals listed. There’s also a housing swap section, and although there’s only one listing for now, keep checking back for updates!
No GMAP for this one, but here’s the gist of where it lies:
