Rental of the Week: Rhinebeck Converted Barn, $1395/month
Kandy Harris | August 7, 2012
We’re taking a break this week from looking at vacation rentals and, instead, looking at a regular monthly rental. This little converted barn in Rhinebeck (Dutchess County) isn’t very big (904 sq ft), but it’s a decent price considering 1) it’s cute, and 2) it’s on over an acre of land. The landscaping is pretty and serene, especially the stone patio, and we love that the bedroom opens out onto a big second floor deck. The barn doors on the inside are a nice touch, too.
It’s only a one-bedroom rental, but there is a heated outbuilding included. Perhaps it could be used as a tiny guest cabin, or an artist’s studio. Located on a country road north of Rhinebeck and just south of Red Hook.
