Ah, so cool in the countryside in Rhinebeck. It’s a simple design: Two rectangles connected by a breezeway. And it’s right up our alley in terms of walls of glass and clean lines. The house is a 2 bed (although the office could serve as additional accommodation) that sleeps 6 guests max, 3000 square feet, 5 acres next door to the Vanderbilt Mansion Estate off Albany Post Road. Includes radiant heating/cooling, but no pool. Closest swimming would probably be the Hyde Park Swim and Tennis Club but only if you’re a member, or the, more likely, the Rhinebeck town pool. While technically in the town of Rhinebeck, it’s actually about 11 miles south of the village of Rhinebeck, closer to Hyde Park. No reviews yet on VRBO. Here’s the thing, though. It’s a 30 day minimum stay for $9000 from July 1 to September 30. Other times, though, you can rent it for a 7 day min. stay for $2500.
