Might as well stay in Catskill for our Rental of the Week since we came across this single-family cottage just outside of the village. Seems to be well secluded off the main roads but still close enough to stores and amenities. And! It includes a 600 square foot heated studio separate from the house. We find the rustic interior calming and befitting of the property’s woodsy environment, and don’t get us started on the ability to do laundry at home. This might be normal for some, but for those of us who’ve been schlepping it to the laundromat once a week for lo these many years, we consider the existence of a washer and dryer inside of a home to be at the top of the wish list. Anyway, tenant pays for heat and electric and the landlord will take the garbage and plow the snow.
