We’re starting to get a little snowblind around these parts, so behold: Some color in the form of this lovely Craftsman in the Orange County village of Washingtonville. We don’t know Washingtonville that well outside of a quick drive we took through it about 15 years ago when we first moved to upstate New York. They have a cool library and a decent and seemingly-walkable downtown area, but we’ve heard about some flooding issues around the Moodna Creek, which runs right through the village. Regardless, we dig this village rental right down to its cheerful kitchen and outdoor seating area. Washingtonville is located in the town of Blooming Grove, about 20 minutes west of Newburgh.
