Salt Point is a hamlet located in the town of Pleasant Valley, and we found some great properties for sale there this week. This farmhouse, however, was our favorite of the bunch. We occasionally find ourselves on the fence about the rough-hewn exposed beam look. Sometimes, it looks a little dark and hunting-lodge-like, a tad too rustic. But they work great here, not only because the wood itself is a light hue, but because there are a good number of windows letting in natural light. Good call by the builder there. Everything else we can see is pretty lovely, as well, like the stone patio in the back yard and access to Wappingers Creek on the property. We’ll shut up now and let you look.
