There are a few of these 18th century stone houses for sale in Saugerties right now, but this one is, by far, the nicest and possesses the coolest interior of all of them. The kitchen is modern, as are many of the other features of this house, but old-fashioned aspects remain, such as the floor boards, ceilings beams, and the gigantic hearth, a signature aspect of the time period. It’s over 4,000 square feet and sits on an 8.5 acre lot. There are a multitude of great properties on the market in Saugerties, and this is one of our favorites. But then again, we kind of have a thing for old stone houses. We just can’t help ourselves. Feel free to ignore the tax amount if you want to indulge in your fantasies of living here.
