Show Some Love to Hudson Valley Parks and Trails on May 6, 2017

  |  April 4, 2017

Enjoying Hudson Valley and Catskills parks lately or plan to in the near future? Give a little back for all those good times by doing some clean-up work on Saturday, May 6, 2017 for I Love My Park Day.

Parks & Trails New York holds the event every year throughout New York State, and volunteers can register on ptny.org/events/i-love-my-park-day. Catskill parks looking for help on clean up day include Kaaterskill Wild Forest and the Catskill Interpretive Center (depicted above). Parks in the Hudson Valley include Minnewaska State Park, Olana State Historic Site, and Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park, plus many more.

Even if you don’t spend a lot of time in the Hudson Valley/Catskills parks, you can still volunteer at state parks all over the state. Click on the “Click to Register!” button to find state parks locations throughout New York. Enjoy the fresh air, get some exercise, make new friends, and give back to the state parks we love so much.
