Six months ago, we posted about this Roscoe village beauty/cheapie that was $95,000. The price has since dropped $5,000, making it even more tempting. It doesn’t lack in curb appeal, and it looks like a promising bet for someone looking to buy for the first time or get a second home in the Catskills (Roscoe is in Sullivan County). Anglers, take note: Roscoe, also known as Trout Town, USA!,  is located where the Willowemoc Creek meets the Beaver Kill. Ah, if only the lot size was more substantial. But living out in seclusion in the Catskills on lots of land isn’t always everyone’s bag. There are definite advantages to living in a more populated place. Walking to stuff, having human contact, proximity to a major thoroughfare, etc. are important to some. And if you can snatch it up for less than $100,000, even better. Curious? Here’s the Roscoe town guide.
