Staatsburg Eyebrow Colonial, $385,000
Kandy Harris | December 16, 2013We love what’s on the outside of this circa-1800 Colonial in Staatsburg, especially the look of the exterior itself, which has clearly been nicely maintained. Love the stone retaining walls, stone patio, and the park-like yard, too. The interior still has the hand-made exposed beams intact, plus plank flooring, fire place, and cozy bedrooms, although it’s tough to tell from the photo whether the kitchen meets the same attractiveness as the rest of the home. In fact, the rest of the house could really benefit from some decent photos (sorry to state the obvious). It’s situated on 2+ acres at the intersection of Hollow and Sodom Roads about 7.5 miles from the riverfront. The Taconic State Parkway is about 4 miles away near Clinton Corners.
