Stamford Village Colonial Revival with a Pretty Exterior, $75,000
Upstater Staff | November 1, 2016Oh, how we long to see the inside of this pre-Civil War Colonial in the Delaware County village of Stamford. In fact, it’s kind of an unofficial rule that we won’t post any listings without photos of the interior. This house, however, was just too intriguing to pass up, so we’ll just have to imagine based on the information from the listing…and it says this house needs work.
Maybe the interior is a complete disaster, but here’s the good stuff: Four bedrooms, two full baths, 2300 square feet, hardwood floors, and stone fireplace. We absolutely love the front porch and the fact that it comes with a half-acre lot size, pretty generous for a residential area. Also includes a carriage barn.
Stamford village, affectionately known as the “Queen of the Catskills,” is located in eastern Delaware County just north of Roxbury and less than 3 hours from NYC.
