Stately Coxsackie Village Victorian, $249,000
Kandy Harris | March 9, 2015When we think Victorians, we head straight to the village of Coxsackie in Greene County. There, you’ll find its streets lined with stunning examples of the style. In fact, if you’ve never spent any time there, you should add it to your list of Hudson Valley destinations, even if it’s just to drive around and gawk at the houses (we suggest a trip to the waterfront park, too, when the weather becomes a little more hospitable), something we’ve done ourselves many times. This ornate, colorful Victorian is just one such specimen situated on a full acre of land right in the middle of town, just a couple of blocks from the waterfront. The detailed woodwork is beautiful, as well as the stained glass windows, moldings, towers, and gables, and it’s pretty darn spacious at nearly 4000 square feet. Added bonus: The third-floor attic is finished with its own room and bath. Ready to move in yet?
