An open and airy cottage with cathedral ceilings set among former farmland and two barns is what host Lisette offers. The one bedroom homeaway is not only surrounded by the beautiful Catskill Mountains but also ensures modern conveniences despite its rural facade. Camping may be beautiful, and there are plenty of areas to do it, but why set up a tent to sleep outside with the bugs if there’s this cottage? Nature is close enough to touch, and when the outside starts to get a chill in the air feel free to head back in and get cozy under the covers of the full size bed. During the day, hiking, biking, swimming or skiing, should the season permit, are all easily accessible in the nearby mountains. According to the host, there’s even an alpaca farm down the road!
