Sunny Oneonta Victorian, $245,000
Kandy Harris | August 3, 2012Boy did we have to make some tough choices. So many great houses to choose from, so few days in a week. Hopefully, however, our little snap shot into Oneonta will spur your own investigation into the city’s drool-worthy properties.
We’ve been particularly enjoying the price per square footage numbers on houses, like this one. Less than $100/square foot gets you a 2500 square foot cheerful, neat-as-a-pin Victorian with new and remodeled everything, with a walk-up attic and a shed for more storage. The only fly in the ointment for us is the kitchen. It’s not a mess, but it’s pretty plain compared to the rest of the house. It seems like it’s always the kitchen that gets ignored, doesn’t it? Can’t tell you how many amazing houses we’ve seen with blah kitchens. Regardless, we like everything else, including the exposed brick in the master bedroom.
Another great house at a super-affordable price. Well played, Oneonta. Well played.
