Take Yourself Glamping in a Hudson Valley Tiny House for $56/night
Staff | August 8, 2017Looking for something midway between a tent and a rental cottage? Then a Tiny House is what you seek, and there’s one awaiting your auspicious arrival in Highland, Ulster County.
The Tiny House is off-grid, meaning there’s no electricity or plumbing. But, since you’re looking to glamp, anyway, that shouldn’t be a problem. Sleeps five occupants with two in a sleeping loft above a 160 square foot space with a small kitchen, sitting room, and floor mattress for additional guests, although we feel two people is really optimal for a space this small. After all, what if it rains? Also includes wood stove, cooking stove, and composting toilet. Need a shower? Guests have access to the main residence for bathing and charging devices.
Located about 10 minutes east of New Paltz village and convenient to the NYS Thruway. There are no reviews yet on the Airbnb listing, but we can’t help but feel tempted by the affordable per-night price and 1-night minimum stay. Definitely worth giving it a spin for a weekend.
