Maverick Concert Hall
Maverick Concert Hall in West Hurley is hosting the Miro Quartet Saturday, August 8 at 6 pm. The quartet, formed by violinists Daniel Ching and William Fedkenheuer, violist John Largess, and cellist Joshua Gindele, is to perform Schubert’s String Quartet No. 15 in G Major, and Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 14 in C Sharp Minor. Catskill Art Society
Catskill Art Society in Livingston Manor is hosting Audubon and Friends Too, a group show curated by Kate Hyden and showing the works of various artists affiliated with the Sullivan County Audubon Society. National Museum of Dance
National Museum of Dance in Saratoga Springs is hosting a Tango Gala, Saturday, August 8 at 7 pm. The night includes a special performance by Tango Pasion ensemble from Argentina. August Art Festival in Rosendale
Women’s Studio Workshop in Rosendale is hosting a summer art festival from August 7 to 29, including a variety of workshops and activities. Over thirty artists will show works in various media including video and installation. Saturday, August 8 at 3 pm a group of performers led by artist Margeaux Walter will perform Semblance camouflaged into the environment.
