Tuxedo Park Mid-Mod, $359,000
Kandy Harris | March 4, 2014We don’t know much about Tuxedo Park in southern Orange County, but we know a snazzy mid-century modern when we see one. This one was built in 1957 and is less than half a mile from the Tuxedo Metro North station and the Shortline bus. It’s also uphill from the train station, which might make that schlep a little less desirable. Good thing you can arrange for a cab ahead of time. Anyway, the house is on a half-acre surrounded by woods, and according to the listing, it retains lake rights to Wee Wah Lake. It has two kitchens, a big stone fireplace in the living room, wood floors, big windows, and a wet bar. We wish the living room furniture came with it because whoa. Swanky.
