It’s Ulster County Fair Time Again
Kandy Harris | July 31, 2014Oh, snap! The Ulster County Fair has already begun! Where were we? How did we miss it? If you were on the ball and went on $40/carload night, good for you. For the rest of us, we can catch free admission day for seniors today (Thursday), or just pay the $15 general admission price that includes all midway rides and entertainment. Speaking of entertainment, we were happy to hear that the Kent Family Magic Circus has been included on the schedule. It’s just the kind of circus we like: The kind without animals. You can also watch tractor pulls, see pig races, catch a horse show, listen to live music, or enter your child in a baby contest. However you choose to enjoy the county fair, make sure you include liberal application of fried dough. It just wouldn’t be a fair without it. As always, the Ulster County Fair is at the Ulster County Fairgrounds, 249 Libertyville Road, New Paltz (GMAP), and runs through Sunday, August 3rd.
