Unique Boutique Hotels? We Got ’em in the Hudson Valley & Catskills
Kandy Harris | March 22, 2017We don’t always follow these ad-packed listicle sites that often end up in our social media feeds, but we appreciate that BestThingsNY.com knows a cool place to stay in the Hudson Valley/Catskills when they see one. A recent list called “The 15 Coolest (and Most Unique) Hotels in New York!” highlighted a bunch of unique hotels, inns, and B&Bs all over the state, including local spots like Mohonk Mountain House (New Paltz, Ulster Co.), the Roxbury Motel (Roxbury, Delaware Co.), and Wing’s Castle (Millbrook, Dutchess Co.,) in very good company, indeed.
Our own list would have included Kate’s Lazy Meadow (Mt. Tremper, Ulster County), Spruceton Inn (West Kill, Greene County), Willowemoc Wild Forest Yurt (Livingston Manor, Sullivan County), and the Saugerties Lighthouse B&B (Saugerties, Ulster County). Have you been to a note-worthy hotel, inn, or B&B in the Hudson Valley or Catskills? We’d love to hear about it! Tell us in the comments section.
