This circa-1845 side hall Colonial was once the parsonage for the Presbyterian church in the village of Valatie, but you don’t have to be a person of the cloth to live there now. We love the sunny exterior with the light blue shutters best of all, but the interior is nicely updated, illuminated by lots of natural light, and we dig the brick fireplace in the dining room, although it’s a little hidden in the photo below. Also includes a screened-in porch. It’s situated walking distance from the village and the falls and a pretty tree-lined residential street with lots of other gorgeous houses. Eye candy abounds in Valatie, that’s for sure.
