Vintage Farmhouse in Greenville, $399,000
Kandy Harris | July 12, 2012As we’ve mentioned previously, Greenville (Greene County) is a great place to look for a farm. There are several on the market right now, but this we particularly like this one. The farmhouse is just lovely and large at 3200 square feet and 7 bedrooms. The kitchen is in desperate need of additional counter space, but aside from that, there are no obvious flaws (we’re just going to graciously ignore the floral walls in the dining room and the upstairs hallway, which aren’t THAT bad). We like the wood floors and the big enclosed porch, too. Sadly, that great upright piano the dining room probably doesn’t come with the house.
Property is 13.5 acres with 7 acres of pasture, 2 barns and a couple of outbuildings. Not surprisingly, it’s located in a rural area, approximately 3.5 miles from the hamlet of Greenville.
