Turns out, you can get there from here, particularly if the “here” is this New Paltz village house for sale right off of the main drag. Walk to local restaurants, shops, music venues, galleries, and the Trailways bus station 5 minutes away. If you drive and commute via the I-87 Thruway, it’s a 5 minute drive to the nearest exit, and the Poughkeepsie train station is 20 minutes from here. It’s official: We’re calling this one a commuter location.

As for the house itself, it’s a little one with just a tad over 1000 square feet, two bedrooms, and one bath. It’s been well-maintained, though, and includes a mix of laminate and wood flooring, new windows, new kitchen appliances, renovated bath, attached deck, and the option to turn a room off the kitchen into a third bedroom. Lot includes a quarter-acre of land surrounded by trees to provide a bit of privacy and shade. Nothing fancy, but perfect if you love New Paltz, are looking for something inexpensive, and you need access to public transportation or the NYS Thruway.
