This Week on Upstater: Hey Big Spenders! Spend a Little Time on These Luxury Homes

It’s April 4, 2016, and there are several inches of snow on the ground outside my office window in Saugerties. Suffice it say, I’m utterly gutted at this turn of events, and my creaky old apartment is seemingly made entirely of drafts. My toes are so cold that I’m considering pouring my coffee directly onto them. Longing to be anywhere else right now, I set my real estate search for the more luxurious side of things. Because, quite frankly, if I have to endure a snow storm two weeks into the official start of spring – and almost no snow all winter, at least in my neck of the woods! Talk about adding insult to injury – I would want to be doing it from one of these beauties from the Hudson Valley/Catskill luxury homes market. And, we suspect you might feel the same way.

So, this week, let’s play make-believe and ignore the decidedly non-spring like climate outside. Let’s look at the fancy, expensive homes. Perhaps under a blanket with a cup of something hot. We could all use some expensive eye-candy right about now. Stay tuned…
