West Hurley Bungalow, $139,000
Kandy Harris | September 27, 2013Homes on land don’t seem to common on the market in West Hurley. It makes sense because its a small hamlet, laid out like a residential neighborhood. We did find a couple this week, however, including this sweet 1950s bungalow situated on an acre of land. It has an enclosed porch with a wood stove (perhaps to prolong the porch-sleeping season well into the winter? Sounds cozy), and a large foyer that, according to the listing, could be an additional living space, like a home office or den. We would update the kitchen for sure. The whole thing is bright and cheery, and it’s close to Woodstock, Kingston, and the Reservoir.
