The setting for this cottage in West Hurley is woodsy, and yet, and it’s still close to both Route 28 and the village of Woodstock. The house itself is quite eclectic, with a nice roomy flow, a wood stove in the living room (which looks to have some fairly high ceilings, adding to the spaciousness), and back patio. Of course, it’s hard not to notice a preponderance of purple, but color schemes are always changeable. Lot size is a tad over an acre. The listing claims privacy, which seems feasible given that the cottage is tucked away. Long story short: Very cute, pretty surroundings, close to amenities. We like it, especially the low taxes.
