It’s Love-At-First-Sight with this Victorian in North Westchester for $650k

  |  February 21, 2019

If you manage to catch a glimpse of this Westchester County Victorian behind its shade trees, you might just fall in love.

Situated on close to an acre in the northeast Westchester County town of North Salem, this three-bedroom Folk Victorian farmhouse was built way back in 1870. Its update is fresh and modern, however, with a stainless steel kitchen, security system, and polished-up original details like the wainscoted front porch, wood floors, living room fireplace, and bay windows.

Our favorite feature of this 2,536-square-foot home is the kitchen-adjacent sitting room, flanked with windows on both sides and offering access to the back patio via double glass doors.

Upstairs on the second floor, there are three bedrooms, two full baths, and a sitting room, all with wood floors and lots of natural light.

And the capper? This adorable little shed/cottage with its own set of stone stairs.

Do you love a Victorian home? We do, too, which is why we’ve been scouring the listings for our favorite Victorian houses in the Hudson Valley and Catskills all this week on Upstater. Want to see more fabulous Victorian listings? Go here, here, here, here, and here.
