Here’s a rental we found thanks to one of our readers, who also owns the property. The Woodstock stone cottage is off Wittenberg Road, just minutes from Wilson campground and is situated on more than 12 acres, so privacy seems virtually assured. Of course, the first thing to catch our eye is the floor-to-ceiling picture window in the living room. Also of note are all of the little places around the property to escape with a book and a sketch pad. Includes a stone patio for BBQing, hot tub, mountain bikes, hammock, and wifi, and the description says that a swimming lake is a 10 minute walk away. Accommodate 8 guests divided up over 4 bedrooms. Only nightly rates are available, but long-term renters are welcome, so says the Homeaway.com description. A quick glance at the availability shows a lot of weekends blocked out, but plenty of weekdays available through the summer months.
