According to the NYS Department of Labor, those are the Top Five Trending Jobs for 2015 in the region (thanks to the Yorktown Patch for hipping us<\/a><\/strong> to this info via the Department of Labor’s press release). And the pay is not too shabby…unless you’re a home health care aide. Here’s the median salary breakdown:<\/p>\n – Registered Nurses ($76,450)<\/p>\n – Carpenters ($57,020)<\/p>\n – Home Health Aides ($23,390)<\/p>\n – Automotive Service Technicians and Mechanics ($43,940)<\/p>\n – Medical Scientists, Except Epidemiologists ($87,380)<\/p>\n
