Celebrate Winter with Hudson Woods on Saturday, February 25th

  |  February 8, 2017

Sharpen your marshmallow stick and get ready to make s’mores with the kids on Saturday, February 25th at the Hudson Woods Winter Festival in Kerhonkson. The event is free, and there are lots of other family-friendly activities scheduled between 1pm and 5pm like the aforementioned s’mores making, sled races, snowman building, and snow painting. For the grown-ups in attendance, learn to make wine, sip libations from Kingston Wine Co. and Arrowood Brewery, and nibble on treats from Fruition Chocolates (this alone should make you want to go), Applestone Meat, Tree Juice Maple Syrup, and Good Harvest. Attendees will have the chance to shop for handmade crafts from Northern Grade, too. Sounds like a nice way to spend a winter’s afternoon, doesn’t it?

The event is hosted by Hudson Woods, a residential community located in Kerhokson, Ulster County. The 131-acre community features homes designed from sustainable and local materials by Lang Architecture. For more information on Hudson Woods Winter Festival and to RSVP, click here. The Winter Festival will be held at 101 Ridgewood Road, Kerhonkson. See you in the Woods!
