A Chapel Retreat in Kingston for the Weekend

Price/Night: $160
Accommodations: Private Room
Max Guests: 3
Min Stay: 2 nights
Get out of town this weekend and head to the Rondout section of Kingston for this converted church/b&b. Everything about this room is divine whether it’s the cathedral windows that flood the room with light or the clean white-washed walls, linens, and bathroom. The courtyard garden view from the bedroom window is reason enough to check it out: complete with a flower and herb garden, cobblestone paths, fruit trees and wait for it… a picture perfect fountain. Turns out you don’t have to fly to Europe for this kind of luxury. This Hudson Valley renovated church hall is the perfect place to retreat from life’s crazy and spend some quality time alone or with up to 2 others. For $15 more per person, enjoy a 4 course breakfast around the farm table in the kitchen or, in warmer weather, in the fairy tale garden.
If the charm of this old church hasn’t convinced you then maybe the charm of the owners will. With 5 stars across the board on airbnb, just about every review begins with “Julie and Peter are lovely” or some rendition of that and ends with some anecdote which confirms it.
Take a trip to Kingston. We’ve got a feeling you’ll worship this one.
