Be a Person of Letters at the Typewriter Arts Festival @ Greenville Drive-In on June 11th
Upstater Staff | June 9, 2016Does it get anymore quintessential ‘Catskills of the 21st Century’ than a typewriter festival held at a retro drive-in that specializes in locally-made concessions? Well, that’s exactly what’s happening this Saturday, June 11th, at the Greenville Drive-In, 10700 Rt. 32 Greenville.
Highlights of the first-annual Typewriter Arts Festival include a live performance with The Boston Typewriter Orchestra, screenings of the documentary The Typewriter (in the 21st Century) and the feature Populaire, a display by local artists using the medium of typewriters, and a display of vintage typewriters.
If that sounds like you’re kind of fun, view the full day’s itinerary here. Tickets are $10 and available online or at the door. Get your QWERTY on.
