House description:
Reasonable Writer’s Retreat week continues here on upstater, and in that spirit we present this pastoral Bed and Breakfast in High Falls. It comes equipped with everything you need to knock out your season-themed poetry, your latest novel, or that screenplay you’ve been working on. It’s even got a designated writing desk in front of a window for those moments you need to gaze pensively into the distance. Coming in at a mere $160-$195 dollars a night, this is the perfect spot to compose.
Sample reviews:
“I only have good things to say about this charming little country house, renovated with exquisite taste and artistic touch. Everything is of best quality, perfectly clean and well-mantained. The bed and the sofa are very comfortable. There is everything you need in the kitchen to cook all you wish. The rooms are nice and big. Natural light is pouring everywhere into the house. As it is located on a hillside, you also have a nice view of the surroundings from the windows.
In fact I found the place even nicer than on the pictures presented on the website and we liked it so much that we did not go out much! We felt like in a cocoon!
But there are many possibilities of hikes in the parks in the area and there are villages not to far where you can find all the services. We loved the Bagel coffee in Stone Ridge!”
