Chronogram 8-Day Week: Gary Shteyngart’s Little Failures
Kandy Harris | March 27, 2014Ignore the temperature outside. It must be spring, because there are a million great things happening this weekend in the HV. Tonight, we’ve got Gary Shteyngart, author of the books Absurdistan and Super Sad True Love Story, lecturing on his autobiography Little Failures at Vassar College, 8pm. We loved Absurdistan and although we haven’t read Little Failures yet, we’re bumping it up to the top of our to-read queue.
If authors discussing their memoirs don’t interest you, go see Wes Anderson’s new movie The Grand Budapest Hotel and get your whimsy on, or the Performing Arts of Woodstock’s production of The Importance of Being Ernest, or Robert Cray at the Paramount Hudson Valley in Peekskill. Or, stay in this weekend and venture out mid-week in time for Storm King Art Center’s opening day. We’re feeling warmer already.
